The Research Foundation of Dphil Ragna Rask-Nielsen funds

  1. Scientific fundamental research of any kind
  2. Fundamental research within cell biology, especially related to research into leukaemia and cancer

Please note that applications from master's programme students and PhD students will not be taken into consideration. It is possible to apply for the funding of the release of a person from his or her current position in order for him or her to participate in finishing a research project.

As a rule, you can apply for grants within the range of 10.000-40.000 Danish Kroner to fund researcher’s stays at other institutions.


Next deadline for applications is April 1st, 2024.


Application form

To apply for a grant, please use the application form which will be available February 2024. The application form must be completed and submitted online. You will receive an e-mail confirmation after submitting the form. When attaching documents to the application form, they must be merged into one PDF-file and submitted electronically as well.


Attached documents

The following must be included in the attached documents (6 pages max): project description, budget, and CV.

Applications with more than 6 pages of attached documents will not be taken into consideration.
